LF: Basic but well-functioning hard drive duplicator/cloner

I want to buy a basic hard drive duplicator so I can do straight 1-to-1 copies of my laptop hard drives for occasional comprehensive backups. (Yes, I know I will have to pull the drives out of the laptops. I also know there are some total-backup softwares that people swear by, but I've decided not to go that route, as I'm not enough of a computer maven to be able to work around the issues those softwares can apparently cause down the road.)

There are several inexpensive duplicators on the Canadian market, but the user reviews don't seem very good on any of the ones I've seen so far.

Can anyone recommend a reliable, well-functioning HDD duplicator, sub-$100, that they have actual first-hand experience with?
