Tried to throw in a video card into my dell machine and it was simply too cramped, with two sata ports/cables being smashed under the GPU. I am going to build a new system instead...no rush however.
Looking to spend $400. Noticed bare-bones bundles at TD... are these any good? I suppose they require mail-in rebates to get the price down :\
I already have the following:
Powercolor HD 5850 GPU
WD Green 1.5tb 5200rpm secondary storage drive
Corsair 430w 80+ PSU (although I would throw in something more powerful if needed)
I need:
mid-tower Case (at least 2x USB 3.0 front ports, SD card reader, Mic / Audio ports)
CPU (3rd gen i5 or AMD equivalent)
Motherboard (sound, GB lan, etc.)
Memory - 8gb to 16gb
Primary Storage - 120gb to 240gb SSD

I am keeping my eye open for a 3tb or 4tb 7200rpm toshiba/wd internal 3.5, but that will not be factored into the budget.
Intel's new gen Haswell CPUs will be coming out this summer, which will ultimately drive down Ivy Bridge prices. I really don't need a new PC now and could easily wait until 3rd quarter before building...but figured I would get RFD's input to see what options exist now.
