I've got 2 routers at my house. One for my network, and one for a guest network.. they are both connected to my cable modem (which has 4 ports out).
Everything is working great, but I'd like to limit the upload bandwidth on one or both of the routers.
It's a Linksys WRT110N that needs limiting, but I also have an E3000 that I might want to tune too.
Is there a way I can max the upload bandwidth for an entire router? Say, 500kbps?
The reason being, when the upload speed is maxed out, the whole network slows to a crawl, no matter which router is serving traffic.
I assume it might be along the lines of setting up QoS at the router's MAC address level, somewhere in the firmware settings.
