My 4-5 year old PSU died last week, so I picked up a new one, an Antec BP550 Plus. Installed it today and the computer powers up, but freezes after POST.
Took it out and put in an old generic backup PSU to make sure nothing was bad on the mobo and it boots up fine.
Back to the Antec and it's the same thing, just freezes up after POST.
Not sure what else to try, seems to me like the new PSU is faulty, does this sound likely?
