I recently landed a job, and the job is awesome (but irrelevant). The job requires me to move to Northern Canada via airplane, and I probably won't be able to bring my ginormous computer case with me unfortunately. So I've been thinking of compressing my build into an HTPC so I can save precious space in my luggage. Shipping the case is an option, but I'd rather carry everything with me so I can plug everything in and work/play instead of wait for my case.
The other issue is, I think the plane I have to take (a small 9-passenger Cessna) doesn't allow for carry-on luggage. And even if they do allow carry-ons, my current case won't fit in any overhead bin.
So the questions:
I've been thinking of shifting my build from the large case into the Fractal Design Node 605. It would fit my build with no space issues. Does anyone have another recommendation for very small form-factor ATX cases?
Also, what do you recommend I do with my most precious hardware? I'm thinking anti-static bags in conjunction with a few rolls of bubble wrap, since it'll go into my checked luggage. Any other methods I'm missing?
Thanks in advance fellas!
