Hey folks.
I have a wack-load of tiffs, that need to be joined into one (or a few) tiffs.
Say 1000pages (spread over 50 tiffs)., and need to join them into max 200pg tiffs.
My only requirement is that the data ratio is 1:1. That is, I can't have 4gbs of tiffs turn into 8gbs, just because now they've been combined.
If the application needs to be detailed I can do that, but I am doubting there's any relevance.
You have 40tiffs, you want to end up with 1-4tiffs. What's the best software out there?
I've tried 'tiff combiner', but it seems to inflate the size unnecessarily & I don't know how to avoid it.

I've discovered irfanview may do it, so I'll test that also.
Much obliged.
