I need something for my workout room, something very simple that can connect to my network and stream video.
Don't need anything fancy, don't need the eye candy, simply something that will read my shared folders on my network and play them. Should be able to handle 720p mkvs.
I have a PBO but it can't connect to shared folders on my Windows 8 PC. I'm sick of troubleshooting this issue so I'm looking to get a new player.
I'm going get a new tv too, something like a cheap 720p 32" LCD, so getting a smart tv could be an option if it can play mkvs.
Also, I have a wireless USB adapter so built in wi-fi isn't a must have.
