I just picked up (129.99 US from Bestbuy) the Intel 520 180gb ssd. Watched some vids and did the intel data migration, swapped out a 36gb raptor and still have a wd640gb as E drive. Here is some of my sys. info
Windows 7 Ultimate
2.67 gigahertz Intel Core i7 920
Board: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. X58A-UD3R
Bus Clock: 133 megahertz
2x 4gb Kingston ddr3 1600
When I plugged in the drive, I plugged it into the Sata3 plug on mb

So my question is, Are these speeds normal or is there something I can do in the bios? I'm no expert with the bios but it appears it is set to ACHI but what about trim?
Any help would be much appreciated. I usually am pretty good about figuring stuff out but with this case I don't have any idea of other speeds to compare to, to see if these are normal.
